Now, we need to set up the memory card in the PS2 BIOS. When you’re done, hit Create and that’s the PS2 memory card set up in PCSX2. It’s just like the actual PS2 experience in that regard, only virtual. Should you run out of space, you can create a new memory card and switch the old one out for the new one in the PCSX2 settings. I went with 8 MB as this is the most compatible. Give your memory card a name in the top box, then select how much space you want to devote to the card. For me, it’s installed to my SD card, so the path is as follows: Once EmuDeck has finished installing, go back into the Dolphin File Explorer and locate the PS2 ROMs folder. I made a full guide to install EmuDeck, but the quick version is to go to the EmuDeck website, and click on Download Installer. Not only will EmuDeck install a bunch of different emulators, it’ll also configure each of them to work specifically with the Steam Deck and it’ll set up the whole file structure and folders for you. If you don’t know what the second option is, I’d go the EmuDeck route. The second, is to install it through the Discover store. The first, and the easiest, is through EmuDeck. There are two ways to install PCSX2 on Steam Deck. Click on Switch to Desktop, and after a few seconds you’ll be where you need to be. To enter this mode, boot up the Steam Deck as normal, then hold the Power Button until a menu appears.
